SBC at Eton College gives students the unique opportunity to study at one of the World's most famous independent schools

Eton College was founded in 1440 by King Henry VI and counts 20 British Prime Ministers amongst its alumni, as well as numerous writers, scientists, academics and sportspeople. SBC at Eton College gives students the unique opportunity to study at one of the World's most famous independent schools.

The course, designed specifically for students aged 12-16 at an Intermediate level (B1) or higher, is focussed on giving students the opportunity to improve their English language skills in an immersive and international environment, whilst making new friends from around the world. We offer 15 hours of tuition per week across a range of 2-week courses: General English, Enrepreneurship & Business Leadership, Political Science & Governance, Psychology & Human Behaviour or Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence. As part of our Time to Shine programme, our students get to draw on the breadth of knowledge they have been studying each week, to create engaging and thought-provoking presentations.

Our trained staff extend English learning beyond the classroom, with students enjoying a fantastic activity and events program, including:

  • Sports (including swimming, football, arts and yoga) shopping tours, cultural visits and Windsor sightseeing

  • Three full-day excursions, including a trip to London

  • A black-tie graduation ceremony to celebrate students’ achievements at the end of the course

All students are accommodated on-site at Eton College boarding houses (single rooms only). Our friendly and supportive staff team are available 24 hours per day to support students. We pride ourselves on offering the best possible care to students, and achieved British Council area of strengths in Accommodation and Safeguarding Under 18’s.

Travel and Transfers

Summer Boarding Courses offers an Airport Transfer Service to Eton College for any flights to and from Heathrow Airport. This will be in operation throughout the scheduled arrival and departure days and available for all flights between 09.00 and 17.00 at a cost of £85 per journey. For any queries about flights scheduled outside these times, please speak with your Admissions Manager before finalising transfers.
