Copperfield is a co-ed day and boarding school for students between the age of 4-18, following an IB Curriculum – IBPYP, IBMYP, IBDP.
Copperfield is the only ski in ski out school in the world. Based in the stunning village of Verbier in the Swiss Alps, the school is extremely safe and secure with students leading active, outdoor, healthy lives with unparalleled freedom. The school offers excellent academic support with a top quality teaching facility, small class sizes (3:1 student staff ratio) and plenty of one to one support. There is a truly international community of 27 nationalities with no particular nationality dominating and the strong boarding community resides in five star chalet accommodation with all single or double bedrooms having sensational mountain views. The pastoral care and wellbeing support at Copperfield is tremendous and the wide range of outdoor sport and extra-curricular activities means that students can ski, snowboard, mountain bike, horse ride, hike, play golf with the Alps their playground. Tennis and basketball courts are on site and a competitive ski programme is offered. The school has a strong arts and drama offering with students encouraged to learn a musical instrument and involved in the Verbier Music Festival, annual drama production and the many arts clubs.
The school follows the IB programme and takes pupils aged 4-19 years and students can join Copperfield for a term, year or full academic programme.
Copperfield is an easy train or car ride from Geneva Airport and airport pick ups are available. Easter and summer programmes are on offer in 2025 between 1-2 weeks in length and include language tuition and a full range of sport and activities.

Copperfield on an annual or seasonal basis and will learn a least 2 languages and a musical instrument as part of their timetable. Keeping class sizes small is a key part of Copperfield’s commitment to individualised learning, with an aim for no class to grow above 10 students.
The school currently has over 20 nationalities spanning from Brazil to Australia and continues to grow daily.
